Our story

Front of a brick building with the "Complete Care Animal Hospital" sign in front, with a flower garden planted around the sign.

In 1978, Dr. Barry Reppart founded the Harcourt Veterinary Clinic. At that time Dr. Reppart was one year out of Veterinary school and made the decision to return to his native home in Knox County, Ohio where he commenced a long and successful career as a local veterinarian. Throughout the years Dr. Reppart mentored many aspiring veterinarians, one of them being Dr. Amanda Rogers.

Dr. Rogers began her tenure with Dr. Reppart in 1999 as part of the kennel staff. Dr. Rogers continued employment through her undergraduate, graduate, and Vet school years; upon graduation from The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, she purchased the practice from Dr. Reppart in 2011.

We are now known as Complete Care Animal Hospital and will continue to provide excellent veterinary care to a variety of animals, including birds, rodents, and other exotics. Our hospital is equipped with a full range of diagnostics such as ultrasonography, and digital radiology, including digital dental radiology; and a complete laboratory that allows us to provide our patients with immediate results. We also offer advanced surgical services, cutting-edge anesthetic services, utilize surgical laser technology, and post-operative therapy laser treatments. Our patients are cared for by an exceptional team of registered veterinary technicians and support staff while in the hospital.
